Midway Corvette Pinball Machine at No Reserve

This pinball machine is a Corvette-themed arcade game produced by Midway Manufacturing of Chicago, Illinois, in 1994. It features a multicolor illuminated playfield depicting various Corvette models and editions, along with automotive-inspired graphics and brand names. The seller acquired the machine in July 2026 and subsequently installed Comet LED bulbs and PRW rubbers. The seller also replaced the encoder opto board, apron cards, pinballs, flipper buttons, playfield glass, cabinet protectors, and leg bolts. The mechanical and electrical components were tested, the playfield was cleaned and waxed, and the machine was programmed for free play. This Corvette pinball machine is one of 5,001 units produced and is offered at no reserve in Wellington, Florida.

Midway Manufacturing was founded in 1958 and was purchased by Bally Manufacturing about ten years later. Over the next three decades, the company underwent several ownership changes and produced arcade games under different versions of the Bally and Midway brands. This machine was produced in 1994 and depicts multiple Chevrolet Corvette models on the glass-covered playfield, including the 1994 Corvette ZR-1. The game features three flippers, ramps, and slingshots. An engine-shaped ball shaker and speakers simulate engine revving. Players launch balls onto the playfield using the spring-loaded plunger, while red buttons on either side of the cabinet control the single right-side flipper and the two left-side flippers. The goal is to collect nine Corvette models across multiple game modes. Collecting all nine leads to the final puzzle mode, which reveals the 1997 “future Corvette” and starts four-ball multiball.

The illuminated translite displays Corvette models as well as racing imagery and signage. Gameplay information, including high-speed records and accumulated points, is shown on a dot-matrix display. Stereo speakers are positioned on either side of the display, and up to four players can compete in a round of play. The front panel is outfitted with a green start button, dual coin slots and a coin-return receptacle, an extra-ball button, a shifter-style ball launcher, and a lockable hinged door. Components are mounted beneath the playfield and behind the translite.
