This 1951 Dodge B-3-C is a ¾-ton five-window pickup that was purchased new by the seller’s step-grandfather. The seller acquired the truck in 2013, and a subsequent 13-year body-off refurbishment is said to have cost approximately $70k and was completed in 2026. Powered by a 218ci flathead inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission, the vehicle is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a 3.54:1 rear-end ratio, 15″ steel wheels, bright hubcaps, whitewall tires, drum brakes, turn signals, and wood-slat bed flooring. This Job-Rated B-3 pickup is now offered with refurbishment records, spare parts, and an Idaho title in the seller’s name.

Launched in 1948 to replace Dodge’s prewar-era pickups, the B-series featured headlights integrated into the fenders plus elevated “Pilot-House” cabs. This example was repainted blue in 2025, according to the seller. Exterior details include a body-color grille, a split windshield, curved rear-quarter windows, dual side mirrors, running boards, Dodge-branded dual taillights, and chrome bumpers. Turn signals have been added.

The cargo bed is lined with wood slats retained by polished trim strips.

Painted 15″ steel wheels feature bright hubcaps and are mounted with 6.70-15 Firestone whitewall tires. Braking is provided by drums at each corner.

The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include a body-color painted dashboard, a glovebox, sun visors, and black floor coverings.

The steering wheel has a horn ring and fronts an 80-mph speedometer as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, less than 10 of which have been added since 2013.

Rebuilt in 2018, the T306 217.8ci flathead inline-six was factory rated at 97 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission. The gearbox and the rear end were rebuilt in 2018 concurrent with the engine, and the seller notes that the rear end has been updated with 3.54:1 gearing.

An assortment of spare parts will accompany the vehicle. The seller states that the Dodge’s 13 years of refurbishment records are contained in a file that is 2″ thick.

The seller notes that the identification tag shown above has not been refurbished, unlike the rest of the truck.
The Idaho title notes “Exempt” under the Odometer Reading section.
