This 1972 BMW 3.0CS was imported to the US in 1984 and acquired by the current owner in 1996. It is finished in Malaga over beige cloth and is powered by a 3.0-liter M30 inline-six equipped with dual Weber carburetors and linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes aftermarket 15″ five-spoke wheels, power-operated windows, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. This E9 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with the owner’s manual, service records, the stock wheels, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.

The car came finished from the factory in Malaga (21), and clear coat was reportedly applied to the body around 1984. US-market rear side markers have also been added, and exterior features include a driver-side mirror, bright window trim, and chrome-finished bumpers with rubber impact strips.

The aftermarket 15″ five-spoke wheels wear BMW center caps and are mounted with Bridgestone tires. Stopping power is provided by discs at all four corners. The stock 14″ light metal wheels are included in the sale.

The cabin houses front bucket seats and contoured rear seats trimmed in beige cloth with black vinyl sides and backs. Interior appointments include front seat head restraints, lap belts, power-operated windows, a heated rear window, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. The air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2021.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and shows 5k kilometers (~3k miles), and approximately 68k kilometers were added under current ownership.
