This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was modified and refurbished before and after the seller’s acquisition in 2024. Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V8 linked with a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt PosiTraction rear axle, and equipment includes a BTR camshaft, Holley fuel injection, an aftermarket billet drive assembly, a performance cooling system, and American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. The blue body has white side stripes and black rocker panels, and the car rides on QA1 coilovers and Wilwood front disc brakes. Cabin appointments consist of Vintage Air climate control, blue vinyl bucket seats, a Shiftworks horseshoe-style shifter, a tilt steering column, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo. This modified Malibu is offered with records and an Arizona title in the name of the seller’s trust.

The body is finished in blue with white stripes on the nose and bodysides. Exterior details include black-finished rocker panels, SS-style emblems, and chrome side mirrors. The seller notes that work within the past three years included replacing the bumpers, windshield, door handles, emblems, and chrome trim. A ding on the right-front fender is displayed in the gallery.

American Racing staggered-diameter Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with Nitto tires. A full-size spare is stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with Wilwood front calipers. Suspension modifications consist of QA1 coilovers, a front sway bar with polyurethane bushings, and a rear sway bar. The power steering pump was replaced under current ownership.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in blue vinyl and are joined by matching door panels and carpeting. Amenities include Vintage Air climate control, three-point front seat belts, “Chevelle” embroidered floor mats, a Shiftworks horseshoe-style shifter, a cupholder console, an aftermarket sound system with an amplifier, and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo.

The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a Dakota Digital instrument cluster featuring a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. A Holley Terminator X monitor is found in the glove compartment. The digital odometer shows 2,500 miles since the completion of the build, approximately 1,600 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter V8 was overhauled and installed in 2023, per the seller. Engine modifications include a BTR camshaft, Holley fuel injection, a Sniper EFI intake manifold and throttle body, MSD ignition wires, an aftermarket billet drive assembly, vintage-look coil covers, and an oversized aluminum radiator equipped with dual electric fans. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with a 3.73:1 PosiTraction differential. The frame was powder-coated, and the seller notes that the transmission and rear end were also overhauled in 2023 and 2026, respectively. A replacement fuel tank has also been installed.
