This 2001 Morgan Aero 8 is #44 of approximately 210 Series 1 examples produced between 2000 and 2004. The car is finished in yellow, and power comes from a 4.4-liter BMW V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It rides on 18″ OZ Racing magnesium center-lock wheels finished in gray with red accents, and equipment includes AP Racing rear brake calipers, side-view mirrors that anchor through the vent windows, and a dark blue soft top. Inside, the right-hand-drive cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in dark blue leather upholstery, and amenities include air conditioning, power windows, an engine-turned dashboard, and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. This Series I Aero 8 was registered in Belgium before it was purchased by the seller in 2024, and it now has 25k miles. It is offered in Canada with a clean Carfax report and Ontario registration.

The Aero 8 was Morgan’s first all-new design since the +4+ of 1964, and it was unveiled at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. It was produced across five series between 2000 and 2018. The aluminum bodywork on this example is finished in yellow and features Volkswagen New Beetle-sourced headlights, side-opening hood panels, side-view mirrors that anchor through the vent windows, a dark blue soft top, and a chrome flip-up fuel cap.

The 18″ OZ Racing Magnesio center-lock wheels were exclusive to the Series 1 Aero 8. They are finished in gray with red accents on this example and are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy tires. The Aero 8 utilizes an alloy chassis, and the four-wheel disc brake system features Morgan-branded front calipers and AP Racing rear units.

The right-hand-drive cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in blue leather. Matching upholstery extends to the transmission tunnel, door panels, and sills, and wood trim accents the door panels and engine-turned dashboard. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, a 12-volt power outlet, and drilled aluminum pedals. The under-dash stereo has been removed.

The leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel frames off-white VDO instrumentation, including a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and engine temperature. A fuel-level gauge, voltmeter, and clock are mounted in the center of the dash. The digital odometer shows 25k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under the seller’s ownership.

The 4.4-liter BMW M62TUB44 V8 was factory rated at 282 horsepower.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The car is being offered on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada.
