This 1987 Ford Mustang is a GT convertible that shows 17k miles, and it is one of 229 examples with its paint and trim combination of Medium Cabernet over Scarlet Red cloth, per the included Deluxe Marti Report. The car was ordered with the Visibility Light and Power Lock groups, and power is provided by a 302ci V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle. It rides on 15″ alloy wheels, and further appointments include a black soft top, a top boot, a rear luggage rack, and articulated front sport seats. Purchased in 2025 by the seller, this Fox-body Mustang GT is now offered with the aforementioned Deluxe Marti Report, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The GT-specific bodywork is finished in Medium Cabernet (2H) with Cabernet bodyside moldings and a light red side stripe. Further exterior features include a Black (A) convertible soft top, a top boot, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a rear luggage rack.

The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Forceum tires that were installed in 2026. Standard equipment included a Handling Suspension Package featuring variable-rate springs and a Quadra-Shock rear setup along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The articulated front sport seats are trimmed in Scarlet Red cloth (PD) with plaid inserts, while rubber mats line the front footwells. The Power Lock Group added power door locks, and additional interior appointments include a premium sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 1,700 of which were added under current ownership.

The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle with an optional 3.27:1 ratio. The exhaust system uses aftermarket mufflers, one of which has a hole.

The Deluxe Marti Report lists a build date of February 27, 1987, and displays production statistics, factory colors, and equipment.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. It also notes that it was stolen in August 1987.
