1992 BMW 850i

This black-on-black 1992 BMW 850i was purchased out of California by the seller in 2010 and has been fitted with CSi-style body components, Bilstein dampers, H&R springs, and a Bluetooth-capable Continental stereo. Powered by a 5.0-liter V12 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, it features Automatic Stability Control, a power-operated sunroof, fog lights, 18″ Rondell Style 58 wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and cruise control. This E31 has 93k miles and is offered in Canada with a clean US Carfax report and Saskatchewan registration.

The pillarless coupe’s exterior has been refinished in Jet Black (668) and fitted with CSi-style body components. Additional exterior details include E36-specification side mirrors, pop-up headlights, a power-operated sunroof, fog lights, and black bodyside trim. The seller notes pitting in the windshield, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 18″ Roundel Style 58 wheels are mounted with Falken Azenis FK510 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS, and the car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control (ASC). Bilstein dampers, H&R springs, and K-Mac sway bars are fitted. A scratch and flaking finish are noted on one of the wheels.

The cabin features power-adjustable front seats trimmed in black buffalo leather, along with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes an onboard computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable steering column, and a Bluetooth-capable Continental stereo linked to trunk-mounted audio equipment. The seller notes wear on the seat bolsters and blemishes on the door sills.

The E36 M3-sourced three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 190-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 93k miles, approximately 9k miles of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M70B50 V12 was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Since 2023, the intake manifold gasket, spark plugs, throttle body gasket, battery, and rear main seal were replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The transmission mount, transmission pan gasket, and center support bearing were replaced in 2023.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.

The vehicle is being sold on its Saskatchewan registration, which serves as the ownership document in Saskatchewan, Canada.
