This Beck 550 Spyder was assembled under previous ownership and was previously listed on BaT in October 2023 before the seller’s acquisition in 2024. Finished in Silver Blue over black vinyl, it is powered by an air-cooled 2,165cc flat-four paired with a Freeway Flyer four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, a four-into-two-into-one exhaust system, a Kennedy Stage 1 clutch, disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, a banjo-style steering wheel, fixed-back bucket seats, Simpson lap harnesses, a fire extinguisher, and a Bluetooth-capable Dynaudio sound system. Work performed under current ownership included changing the oil, adjusting the valves, replacing the starter, and overhauling the steering system. This Beck Spyder shows 2,500 miles and is offered with service records and a clean Arizona title that lists the vehicle as a 1955 Porsche Spyder.

The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Silver Blue. Exterior details include a LeMans-style fuel filler cap that extends through the hood, as well as H4 headlights, a GT-style driver-side mirror, and dual engine grilles. Blemishes in the paint are depicted in the gallery.

Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Pontenza G009 tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs. The steering column was overhauled, and the steering box was replaced in 2026.

The fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with red piping. Appointments include red Simpson lap harnesses, aluminum pedal covers, a fire extinguisher, and a Bluetooth-capable Dynaudio sound system.

The ivory-finished banjo-style steering wheel frames a central 6k-rpm tachometer, a 200-km/h speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. An oil pressure gauge is mounted ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 2,500 kilometers (~1,500 miles), less than 800 of which were added under current ownership.
