This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible underwent a refurbishment circa 2010 and is said to have spent time in Don Laughlin’s Car Museum in Nevada before it was acquired by the seller in 2021. It has been equipped with a Chevrolet Performance 454ci V8 crate engine and a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and work since 2021 has involved replacing the carburetor and components for the braking, suspension, and power steering systems. The interior has been redone in black leather from Al Knoch Interiors and has a Pioneer head unit, power windows, and Vintage Air air conditioning. The silver paintwork is complemented by black hard and soft tops, and other details include 17″ American Racing wheels, a rear luggage rack, and a side-exit exhaust system. This C3 Corvette is now offered with records and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car has been refinished in silver and is equipped with a retractable black soft top, a black vinyl-trimmed hard top, pop-up headlights, a luggage rack, and a side-exit exhaust system.

American Racing 17″ wheels wear faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A tires. Red calipers are fitted over discs at all corners. The master cylinder and power steering pump were replaced in 2026. Suspension incorporates a VBP composite rear leaf spring, replacement shocks, and anti-sway bars.

The cabin was refreshed with black leather upholstery sourced from Al Knoch Interiors, per the seller, and is outfitted with Vintage Air air conditioning. A Pioneer head unit is linked to aftermarket speakers. A power window switch, door seals, and seat belts were replaced in 2021.

A woodgrain steering wheel has black inserts and is mounted on a tilting and telescoping column. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as a clock and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 900 miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer was repaired in 2021, and the horn was replaced.

The Chevrolet Performance 454ci V8 crate engine was installed under prior ownership. Components include aluminum cylinder heads, McJacks headers, a March Performance accessory drive setup, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. In 2021, the carburetor, accelerator pumps, and spark plugs were replaced.

The engine is backed by a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The frame and various suspension components have been powder-coated, and a replacement fuel tank is installed.
