Modified 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon at No Reserve

This 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon was acquired by the seller’s father as a family project in 2021 and subsequent work consisted of fitting the 5.7-liter LT1 V8 with a custom-grind Erson camshaft, performance cylinder heads and valvetrain, a Torqhead 24x “The Works” kit, and Clear Image Automotive exhaust components. The engine is linked with a Gearstar Level 4 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, a Yank 3200 lock-up stall converter, an aluminum driveshaft, and a Detroit TrueTrac limited-slip differential. Finished in blue over blue upholstery, additional modifications include a QA1 front sway bar, double-adjustable coil overs, and front and rear tubular control arms as well as a high-flow fuel system, 18″ Ridler 695 wheels, a Sony touchscreen infotainment system, a Cold Case aluminum radiator, and a Hayden transmission cooler. Acquired by the seller in 2023, this modified Roadmaster Estate shows 145k miles and is now offered at no reserve with the manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in light blue in 2008 with simulated woodgrain vinyl applique on the bodysides and tailgate. Exterior details include roof rails, a Vista Roof over the second-row seats, remote keyless entry, body-color side mirrors, a power antenna, bright beltline trim, a vertically slatted grille, a Collector’s Edition hood ornament, pop-out rear quarter windows, a rear wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. Clearcoat is peeling on the vehicle and paint and body blemishes are displayed in the gallery.

The 18″ Ridler 695 wheels are mounted with 235/55 Firestone Firehawk AS tires. A QA1 Level 2 handling kit is installed and features double-adjustable coil overs, front and rear tubular control arms, a front sway bar, and polyurethane bushings. The car was factory equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The power-adjustable split-front bench and rear benches are upholstered in blue leather and vinyl, while simulated woodgrain trim accents the color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Appointments include Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, cruise control, a folding armrest with cupholders, automatic climate control, a retractable rear window, and power-operated side windows, locks, and mirrors. Wear is noted on the driver seat, seat covers, and plastic interior pieces.

The cargo area is accessed via a dual-hinged tailgate and features a fold-down rear-facing bench seat.

The steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 120-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 145k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership.
