This 2017 Mercedes-Benz SL450 is finished in Brilliant Blue Metallic over a Porcelain and Black interior and was specified with the $12,600 SL Designo Edition package. The edition specified Designo Porcelain leather accents, Champagne White Piano Lacquer trim, a Dinamica headliner, 19″ and 20″ AMG forged wheels, Distance Pilot Distronic, Grey brake calipers, edition-specific badging, and heated, ventilated, and massaging multicontour seats. Standard equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, active LED headlights, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The 362-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The seller purchased the car on BaT in January 2026 and has since added approximately 1,400 of the 25k indicated miles. Work since the previous auction has included replacing the tires and installing a rear spoiler and window tint. This R231 SL Designo Edition is now offered with a window sticker, a car cover, a battery tender, two key fobs, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Brilliant Blue Metallic (896) and features a power-retractable hardtop, a rear spoiler, edition-specific badging, Active LED headlights, Parktronic parking sensors, and LED daytime running lights and taillights. Window tint was installed in January 2026.

Forged 19″ and 20″ AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 255/35 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in January 2026. Braking is handled by Grey-finished calipers over perforated rotors.

Porcelain Nappa leather trims the heated, ventilated, and massaging multicontour seats, while Black and Porcelain leather accent the dashboard and door panels. The SL Designo Edition added Designo Porcelain leather to the gear selector and door panels as well as White Designo seatbelts, a Designo Porcelain Dinamica headliner, and Black floor mats with Porcelain leather edges. Designo Champagne White Piano Lacquer trim accents the cabin, and amenities include Distance Pilot Distronic adaptive cruise control, Airscarf neck-level heating, a Harman Kardon LOGIC7 surround-sound system, a back-up camera, blind-spot monitoring, Parking Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Keyless Go, and dual-zone climate control.

The two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel has shift paddles and frames factory instrumentation. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter M276 V6 was factory rated at 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 9G-Tronic Plus nine-speed automatic transmission that was serviced in June 2025.

The window sticker notes initial delivery to Mercedes-Benz of Bonita Springs in Naples, Florida, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total retail price of $102,875. A car cover, a battery tender, and two key fobs will also accompany the car.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
