Modified 1991 Suzuki Jimny Turbo 4×4 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 1991 Suzuki Jimny spent time in Japan before being acquired by the selling dealer in 2025 and subsequently brought to the US. Power comes from a turbocharged 657cc inline-three linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the vehicle rides on a lifted suspension as well as 15″ alloy wheels. It is finished in beige over gray cloth and is further equipped with a modified roof, LED exterior lights, black wheel arch flares, a custom roll cage, a woodgrain steering wheel, and a Carrozzeria head unit. This Jimny is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in California with a Virginia title.

Finished from the factory in Charcoal Gray Metallic, the rear portion of the roof was removed, checkered-plate trim was added, and the body was repainted beige. Details include a hood scoop, LED headlights and taillights, an LED light bar, dual side mirrors, and black wheel arch flares.

Black-finished 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in Nankang tires. The truck rides on a lifted suspension and is equipped with Aisin manually locking front hubs. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The selling dealer tells us that the shocks have been replaced along with the front axle bearings and oil seals.

The right-hand-drive cabin houses high-back bucket seats trimmed in patterned gray cloth, and appointments include checkered-plate door panels, a roll cage, a custom partition, and a Carrozzeria head unit. The selling dealer notes that the air conditioning system leaks refrigerant.

The woodgrain steering wheel frames a 140-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 58k kilometers (36k miles), approximately 200 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The turbocharged 657cc inline-three features electronic fuel injection and a top-mount intercooler.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.

The truck is an imported example titled in Virginia but located in California. It has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, and it has not passed a California smog test.

The current Virginia title lists the VIN as “JA11V132855″, adding a “V” to the sequence.
