1971 Ford F-100 Sport Custom 3-Speed at No Reserve

This 1971 Ford F-100 Sport Custom was utilized as a track maintenance vehicle for Islip Speedway in Long Island, New York, and is said to have remained in service until the speedway’s closure in 1984. The speedway was famous for being the smallest track to host NASCAR’s Grand National Series, and the first demolition derby was hosted there in 1958. This 302-powered truck was believed to have been used to clean the track following events as well as participating in the removal of disabled vehicles. The beige exterior features hand-painted Islip Speedway script, while the cab has signatures from various racers and employees of the racetrack. Following the Speedway’s closure, the truck is said to have spent time in a private collection, from which it was acquired by the selling dealer. Previously offered on BaT in July 2026, this bumpside F-100 is now offered again in New York at no reserve with a 1/48 scale model, cleaning equipment, Islip memorabilia, Demolition Derby shirts, and a New Jersey title.

The truck is finished in beige and features hand-painted Islip Speedway script on the sides as well as a Styleside bed, a Klaxon horn, a rear step bumper, and dual exhaust outlets that exit ahead of the rear wheels. The seller tells us that the driver’s window was repaired in preparation for the sale. The left headlight is crooked, rust damage is present throughout, and the vent windows have been covered. Photos further detailing the condition of the truck have been provided in the gallery.

Red-finished 15″ steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and are mounted with Prinx HiCountry H/T tires, which are said to have been replaced in preparation for the sale.

The bed contains two trash cans, a shovel, a broom, and other tools used during track maintenance.

The bench seat is upholstered in beige vinyl and protected by a woven blanket. Interior amenities include an aftermarket cassette stereo, lap belts, aluminum scuff plates, and an aftermarket shifter. Bose speakers are mounted atop the dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles.

A collection of signatures is present on the right side of the cab, including on the dashboard, sun visor, and door.

The 302ci V8 has an HEI distributor and is topped with a single carburetor. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement three-speed manual transmission. The oil was changed in June 2026.

Rust and other corrosion damage are shown in detail in the gallery.

A 1/48 scale model is included in the sale, along with Demolition Derby merchandise and Islip event flyers.

The truck is titled to the serial number F26YCK32813, which corresponds with an F-250 and is shown on the warranty tag visible on what the selling dealer states is a replacement door. An additional serial number sticker and a partial frame VIN are shown in the gallery and do not correspond with the title VIN.
