This 1969 Jeep Jeepster Commando is powered by a 225ci V6 paired with a three-speed automatic, both of which are said to have been overhauled before the seller acquired it from family members around 15 years ago. The vehicle was then kept in storage until a body-off refurbishment between 2022 and 2024, and the seller tells us it has since received first-place awards in its category at three car shows. The truck features a Wimbledon White hardtop, a stainless-steel dual exhaust system, Rancho shocks, Warn manually locking front hubs, 15″ alloy wheels, 31″ tires, and drum brakes. Its black interior has a roll bar, a floor shifter, and carpeted floors. This Jeepster Commando is offered with refurbishment records and an Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The body’s custom finish is based on a Jeepster-specification Spruce Tip Green, per the seller, who reports that the truck’s lighting, bumpers, emblems, mirrors, seals, and weatherstripping were replaced during the refurbishment, and the rear wheel wells were widened by approximately four inches. The door hinges, strikers, and pins were also sand-blasted and powder-coated, although the locks are not working.

The truck rides on leaf springs paired with Rancho shock absorbers, and the Ultra 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 31×10.50″ Dean Mud Terrain Radial SXT tires. Steering is unassisted, while drum brakes provide stopping power.

Beneath a four-point roll bar, the black interior has pleated upholstery, carpeted floors, and a center console with a floor shifter. Additional details include rebuilt window regulators, a replacement circuit board for the instrument cluster, and a faceplate for an AM radio, although a sound system is not installed.

The 110-mph speedometer has a five-digit odometer showing 98k miles, approximately 50 of which have been added since refurbishments were completed. The blinkers for the indicator lights are dim, and the emergency brake is not working.

The 225ci Dauntless V6 was factory rated at 160 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, which is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes that engine was overhauled before he acquired the truck. Under current ownership, the radiator was flushed and inspected, and the electrical system was upgraded with blade-style fuses.

The frame was also stripped, cleaned, and coated with POR-15 rust inhibitor during the refurbishment, and the truck was equipped with a stainless-steel dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe, as well.

Refurbishment records are included in the sale.

The serial number 8705F1732332 is shown above. The VIN on the Oregon title is 870F51732332.
