672-Mile 1987 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible 5-Speed

This 1987 Ford Mustang is a GT convertible that shows 672 miles following history with one registered owner. It was ordered with the Light and Power Lock groups, and power is provided by a 302ci V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle. The car was specified in Oxford White and Titanium with a White soft top over Oxford White leather and rides on 15″ alloy wheels. Additional details include a rear luggage rack, articulated front sport seats, a premium sound system, and cruise control. This Fox-body Mustang GT is now offered in Massachusetts by the selling dealer with a Deluxe Marti Report, the owner’s manual, service manuals, a top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a New Jersey title.

The GT-specific bodywork is finished in Oxford White (9L) with Titanium (73) lower accents and blue side stripes. Additional exterior details include a White (W) convertible soft top, a rear luggage rack, power-adjustable side mirrors, fog lights, a fixed antenna, and a monogram.

The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/60 Goodyear tires. Standard equipment included a Handling Suspension Package featuring variable-rate springs and a Quadra-Shock rear setup along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The articulated front sport seats are trimmed in Oxford White leather, and the door panel accents are color-coordinated. The cabin also has gray-finished details, and additional equipment includes a premium sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. A photograph of an issue with the left door upholstery is shown in the gallery below.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 672 miles.

The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle with 2.73:1 gears.

The Deluxe Marti Report is affixed to the right window and lists a build date of February 4, 1988. It also displays production statistics, factory colors, and equipment. The owner’s manual, service manuals, and a top boot are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The New Jersey title carries an “Actual Mileage” notation.
