This 2023 Ford Mustang Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition is #98 of 100 examples modified by Shelby American in honor of the 100th anniversary of Carroll Shelby’s birth, and it has 304 miles. Edition-specific equipment includes a Whipple supercharger system for the 5.0-liter V8 as well as a Borla exhaust system, revised treatments for the Shadow Black-finished bodywork, Black vinyl racing stripes, Satin Black-finished 20″ forged wheels, upgraded springs and sway bars, Brembo front calipers, and Shadow Black leather and Alcantara upholstery. The engine is linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This Shelby S550 was previously offered on BaT in August 2024 and is now offered in Mississippi by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a Shelby American build sheet, Shelby American literature and accessories, a copy of the window sticker, the owner’s manual, a damage-free Carfax report, and a California title.

The car is finished in Shadow Black (G1) with Black vinyl over-the-top and rocker panel stripes. Centennial Edition bodywork includes a vented hood, aluminum fenders, and a revised upper grille, rear spoiler, taillight panel, and side rockers and rocker wings along with Shelby Centennial badging and graphics.

The Satin Black-finished 20″ Shelby forged wheels are mounted with Michelin tires that show date codes from 2022 and 2023. Shelby American equipment includes Ford Performance springs and sway bars as well as adjustable caster-camber plates and Brembo front brake calipers.

The power-adjustable front bucket seats and split-folding rear seats are trimmed in Shadow Black leather with Alcantara inserts and contrast stitching, and Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition logos are embroidered on the front seatbacks. Additional amenities include a Bang & Olufsen sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, Shelby-branded door sill plates, a rearview camera, and SYNC 3.

Plaques on the right-side dashboard and in the engine bay denote the individual Shelby American CSM #23C0098.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A carbon-fiber pod containing AutoMeter auxiliary gauges is mounted atop the dash. The digital odometer indicates 304 miles.

The 5.0-liter V8 was modified by Shelby American with a Whipple supercharger system, a high-performance radiator, and Shelby billet reservoir caps. Output rated by Shelby American is 750 horsepower. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car features a Borla cat-back exhaust system from Shelby American.

The Shelby American build sheet lists standard and optional equipment as well as a total manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $96,354. A copy of the window sticker is included in the sale along with additional Shelby American literature, the owner’s manual, accessories, a Shelby coin, a Stetson cowboy hat featuring a Carroll Shelby signature, and a Stetson Certificate of Authenticity.
