This 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was acquired by the husband of the current owner in 1995, and the 3.9-liter F inline-six was rebuilt the following year. Additional work since has included refinishing the frame and a repaint in red following the installation of a hardtop in 2016. The truck features 15″ Mickey Thompson wheels, manually locking front hubs, aftermarket shocks, a Warn winch, and a receiver hitch along with a black vinyl interior, a cabin heater, a JBL radio, and Pyle speakers. This FJ40 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a Florida title in the current owner’s name.

The truck was reportedly refinished in red in 2016, when a hardtop with a white roof was installed. Features include dual side mirrors, a Warn electric winch, a Hi-Lift recovery jack, and a tubular rear bumper with an integrated receiver hitch. Scratches are noted.

Five-slot 15″ Mickey Thompson are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that show production date codes from 2008, and a matching spare is affixed to the rear. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and aftermarket shocks.

The interior features front bucket seats and inward-facing rear jump seats trimmed in black vinyl. Equipment includes a heater, a dash pad, a Lev-O-Gage, and a JBL Marine radio linked to rollbar-mounted Pyle speakers.

Instrumentation comprises a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles.

The 3.9-liter F inline-six features a single carburetor and was rebuilt in 1996, per the seller.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The frame was reportedly sandblasted and painted in the late 1990s. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
The Florida title notes “Exempt” under the Odometer Status heading.
