Bird Corporation & Konek Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Pedal Cars at No Reserve

These pedal cars were designed in the style of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and represent two versions produced for Oscar Mayer in the 1990s: one by the Bird Corporation and the other by Konek Inc. Each features orange and yellow plastic bodywork over a metal frame, along with a single-seat cockpit, faux windows, plastic wheels, and Oscar Mayer decals. The seller purchased the pedal cars in 2021, and they are now offered at no reserve in North Port, Florida, on a bill of sale.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile promotional-vehicle concept was introduced in 1936, with subsequent redesigns following over the following decades. This Wienermobile-style pedal car was produced by the Bird Corporation of Elkhorn, Nebraska. It features a single-piece, hot-dog-shaped plastic body finished in orange and mounted over a yellow bun-shaped base with a faux grille, headlights, taillights, and side windows.

The Konek-produced pedal car features a two-piece, hot-dog-shaped plastic body finished in orange and mounted over a yellow base with a faux grille, headlights, taillights, and side windows. “Wienermobile” and Oscar Mayer decals are affixed to the front, rear, and sides.

The molded-plastic wheels are finished in orange. The car is said to measure 45” long, 21” wide, and 19” tall.

Each cockpit features a yellow plastic seat and a black steering wheel with a yellow horn button positioned aft of the pedal assembly.

The pedal cars feature a metal frame and the wheels are driven by twin foot pedals.
