This 2003 Mercury Marauder remained with its original owner until it was purchased in 2015 by the seller’s late family member, who drove approximately 2,200 of the 17k miles shown. The car was specified in Dark Blue Pearl over Light Flint leather, and power is provided by a 4.6-liter V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. It rides on 18″ five-spoke forged wheels, and additional details include a keyless entry pad, dual-piston front brake calipers, heated power-adjustable front seats, an Audiophile sound system, and automatic climate control. This Marauder is now offered by the seller on behalf of the late owner’s spouse with a Mercury leather jacket with a dust cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

Just over 11,000 Marauders were built on Ford’s Panther platform in Saint Thomas, Ontario, Canada, over the course of the car’s two-year production run. This first-year example is one of approximately 330 examples finished in Dark Blue Pearl (DX). Exterior details include black-trimmed headlights, cornering lights, fog lights, an exterior lock pad, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and a dual exhaust system with chrome finishers. Some dings are noted.

The polished 18″ five-spoke forged wheels are mounted with General tires. The Marauder came standard with speed-sensitive variable assist power steering, Tokico monotube shocks, and self-leveling rear air suspension. Braking is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with dual-piston front calipers.

The heated power-adjustable front bucket seats are trimmed in Light Flint leather with embossed Marauder logos on the backrests. Additional accessories include an Audiophile sound system, an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo, cruise control, power-adjustable pedals, and automatic climate control.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Factory AutoMeter gauges in the center stack monitor voltage and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 2,200 of which were added under current ownership.

The 32-valve 4.6-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
