This 2002 Mercedes-Benz is one of 1,450 SL500 Silver Arrow convertibles produced for the US market to celebrate the company’s racing history, and it has 2,900 miles. The car is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Silver Arrow Metallic over Black and Silver Exclusive leather. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, xenon headlights, 18″ two-piece alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this R129 is offered with a Silver Arrow-branded briefcase, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.

All Silver Arrow edition examples were finished in Silver Arrow Metallic (777), and this example is equipped with a removable hardtop, a black soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, heated side mirrors, and a power antenna, as well as an AMG-styled front spoiler, side skirts, and rear apron. The selling dealer notes a paint chip on the hood and scratches in the bumper cover and on a door. Photographs of paint-meter readings are presented in the gallery.

Staggered-width 18″ two-piece alloy wheels were unique to the Silver Arrow and are mounted with an older set of Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires. The car is equipped with electronic stability control, and braking is handled by cross-drilled discs at each corner. The seller notes a blemish on a wheel.

The heated power-adjustable seats are upholstered in black and Silver Exclusive leather, while black birdseye maple wood trim adorns the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, a Bose sound system, a six-disc CD changer, illuminated brushed aluminum door sill plates, seat-position memory settings, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The two-tone steering wheel frames an engine-turned bezel housing a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 2,900 miles.

The 5.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

A Silver Arrow-branded briefcase and manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
