White cats are as sweet as whipped cream, orange cats are as sweet as a pumpkin spice latte, void cats are as sweet as a black velvet cake, siamese cats are as sweet as a toasted marshmallow, and these cats here – brown cats are as sweet as chocolate!

It’s very rare to witness a brown cat with your own eyes. They walk the world, sporting one of the most beautiful coats of fur, and people usually don’t even know this color exists on cats. There are many cats with unique fur types, but people can go a lifetime knowing the “licorice” salmiak cat, the toasted siamese, and the leopard-like bengal – but not the brown cats. They’re just so rare that people tend to brush over this color when listing cats’ fur coats. But we’re here to give them the spotlight they deserve.

Especially now that autumn has finally started, and the entire color palette around us is washed over by more and more brown tones, it’s time to let these brown cats into your heart. It’s a cozy place, your heart loves cats, and we’re sure there’s room for some more. Some of the most notable brown breeds are the Havana Brown (with their small face and large ears), the Burmese (they’re very round, like a chocolate praline), and the Oriental Shorthair (which comes in many colors, like chocolate bars in a boutique store, but also brown).

So get ready – make some hot cocoa, take a chocolatey yummy treat, and snuggle under your blanket, preferably with your own cat purring on you – and look at these purrfect cats looking like all the chocolate you love. It’s like the extra yummy thing for a cat lover’s soul.
