What’s up with construction workers finding meowtrageously adorable kittens recently?

This adorable kitten may have given up hope, but the Cat Distribution System had other plans for him. He laid on a rock, crying for help, and it’s a miracle he didn’t get snatched by a hungry hawk or other bird before a kind construction worker stopped what he was doing and moved to protect him. The kitten crawled into his arms, and the rest is history. They bonded immediately, and we can see why.

Recently, a similar story went viral of a loud orange kitten that got stuck in a construction crew’s Komatsu excavator. In order to get her out, they had to disassemble the bottom of the machine, and the kitten quite literally “dropped out of there like a vending machine.” The crew’s mechanic took her home until she grew a little older, then she would become the crew’s awwficial mascot and shop cat. They named her Sue, and she became the internet’s cutest story for a few weeks.

I’m not sure why the universe is suddenly pairing up so many burly, manly-man construction workers with cute and wholesome abandoned kittens, but I’m not mad about it. There’s nothing that warms my heart more than watching a “tough guy” melt into a puddle from a kitten’s cuteness. Cats are some of the best companions around, and I’m sure that this kitten and his new pawrent are going to bring each other years of happiness to come.
