Being an English teacher and a cat parent is a combination that makes so much sense.
When I think of all the cat parents I know, the thought of how wholesome they are eventually creeps into my mind. Because they’re just so kind and great people. They just also happen to raise a cat child (whether the cat itself is as wholesome as they are, or a zoomie demon of menace, is a different question altogether). And then there are also the English teachers I’ve had in my life. I’m not sure if any of them had a cat, but they were all also very kind people, always the best teachers of the year.
So now I want you to imagine this wholesomeness that comes from being a cat parent and being an English teacher, and combine them into one person. The result is cuteness overload. One student on Reddit shared the proof that woke up all the dormant people of the online feline family, because her English teacher said his goodbye to the class with an email attachment of his beautiful cats. And really, they are absolutely stunning. A 10/10 parting gift, if you ask me. Looking at these floofy felines is basking in glory – even if it’s through some pixels on the screen.
I’m not really sure what about English teachers is so wholesome (maybe it’s something to do with the language?), but it just is. And when they’re also cat pawrents, it’s where the adorableness potential really shines. Apparently. It’s not accurate science (for this, you have to look for the STEM teachers). It just is like that. And for this particular teacher? We can only wish him a great rest of his life with his ameowzing cats.
