21 Flexible Felines Folding Themselves Into Boxes for Their Daily Pet Pilates Session

Who needs a yoga mat when you have a perfectly good cardboard box?

I’m not sure if you know this, but have you ever realized how flexible cats are? It’s not that they are JUST flexible: sometimes, it looks like they don’t have any bones. And I don’t know how that is even possible. I’m really curious about their anatomy, actually. How is it that they can fold in whatever shape they want and not complain about it? Or how is it that a big cat can fit in the tiniest seat ever and make it look comfy and cute? Those are things that don’t add up in my head, and I’m not sure how this works.

If I get the chance to talk to a cat, I’d ask them how that is even possible, and I’d hope they would give the real reason behind this. But since that, of course, is not possible, I’m hoping this story will land on a vet’s phone, and they will comment below on how this is possible.

Anyways… while we wait for our vet to give the answers, let me introduce the collection that I gathered for you today. You will find a large number of cats, all of them with different shapes and sizes, that have one thing in common: their passion for boxes and weird spots to lie down to relax. Some of them pick bigger boxes, while others decide to squeeze into the smallest one they find. Besides that difference, I love the fact that they don’t care about the size of the box they have in front of them: they will fit themselves in, no matter how long or how hard they try.

Now that I’m thinking about it, what a great example of perseverance and willpower, right? Any common person who finds themselves in front of a tiny box would never assume they can just fit inside. But cats, they find a way; they can actually do this. And that’s impressive, and something that should be taken more into account when understanding and studying cats. They don’t give up…
