You know that feeling when you meet someone and, suddenly, without even thinking about it, they become the most important person in your life? That’s what friendship is to me. And that’s how I met my friends. Do you want to hear the story? Alright, I’ll make it quick.

I moved to a different town when I was around 21 years old, and I signed up at a new gym. It was a good gym, and there were a lot of girls my age, but I didn’t think much of them. For some unexpected reason, someone introduced me to one of them, and she is now my literal best friend in the entire world. With time, we ended up making another friend together, and that’s how we are now a three-member group. It’s the best.

The same happens when cats and dogs become friends: they were not expecting to become friends. Actually, on the contrary: there’s this rumour going around that apparently they hate each other. But I don’t think that’s true. I’ve seen multiple cats and dogs become the best friends ever, and feeling like they have found their soulmate. So, I honestly don’t think that rumour is true.

Because of how different both animals are, their friendship is that wholesome. They care for each other and wouldn’t imagine their life alone. I found that to be so beautiful and so organic, as well. They don’t think twice about the differences they have, and they only focus on loving and appreciating the other with no hesitation. Isn’t that so beautiful? For sure, something we, as humans, need to learn from them.
