The complexity of a stray cat’s background is something that we hoomans will never fully understand sadly. Their lives are full of twists, turns and terrible people that have subjected them to a life on the streets. And while it might seem to be our duty as cat lovers to scoop up any and all cats that we feel sorry for out in the world, the truth is far closer to us needed to put on the hat of pet detective as this cat lover did to find justice for the feline in question.

Now, cats in the United Kingdom have had rights ever since 1911 and had those rights updated with stricter enforcement in 2006. But sadly neither of those tools of law have managed to make a difference to the cat in this story who was found by our poster in her garden. Day after day the cat returned to her garden progressively looking more and more worse for wear. And as time went on and their relationship blossomed this hooman knew they had to address the issue of this cat’s pawrents. They simply could not goon treating her like this.

But when the pawrents were not receptive this cat lover couldn’t stop. She set about to do everything and anything possible to give this feline the life it deserved and along the way found something surprising that literally changed everything for this sweet stray.
