Ready to trade your fall blanket for something a little fluffier and significantly more judgmental?

Isn’t the best part of fall the fact that we can get infinite cuddle time? Because during other seasons, the snuggles are not as available as in fall. Or at least, that’s been my experience with the types of pets I’ve had. From winter to summer, every single animal that I’ve ever owned didn’t like to cuddle. Yes, not even in winter, when the temperatures were very low. But during autumn, they were always ready for some cozy couch time with me, and I never quite understood why.

I still don’t understand, but I don’t complain because at least I get one whole season of snuggles and cuddles.

Depending on the animal and the type of pet, the amount of snuggles that you will get. Even though I’ve never been a cat mom, I was a cat sitter for a while, so I know the cuddles they like and when they like them. And with the cats that I looked after, I realized that fall is when cats like to be cuddled the most. Maybe it’s because we just left summer behind, and during those crazy heatwaves, nobody likes to be touched. So when autumn comes around, and the temperature is friendlier, animals become softer and actually want to spend more time next to you.

If it were up to me, I’d cuddle with any animal all year round. There’s nothing that calms me more than having some quality physical time with them, but I get that everyone has their preferences, and like some humans don’t like to be touched by animals, some animals don’t like to be touched by humans.
